“Always be the worst on stage. If you’re not surrounded by those who are greater than you, you are not growing; you are not pushing your limits. If you look around and think you are the best one in the room, you are in the wrong room.” Tera Lynne on her life’s motto

If you’ve been to Nashville

you know music exists on every corner. And chances are you may have heard the feisty, gritty, power vocals of Tera Lynne Fister at some point playing either an writers round or full band performance around town. If you’ve been lucky enough to have witnessed her bright red hair bouncing around on stage with her sassy banter and rhythmic guitar, it’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave. The St Louis native has spent the last ten years in Music City honing her craft on and off stage. Cowriting diligently, recording ruthlessly, and managing everything inbetween. All whilst gallivanting the world spreading her music from Badenfhart Festival in Baden, Switzerland to the Rusty Reel Lake jam in Effingham Illinois to the Women in Blues Festival in Clarksdale, Mississippi. This independent artist drips every performance with her soul bearing, truth seeking magic. Don’t you want to listen?

Her mama, whom she tragically lost to pancreatic cancer at the age of 54, used to tell Tera that she came out of the womb singing. And never stopped! With a family line of genius musical talent, it’s no wonder she was exposed to a wide variety of genres and instruments. Piano, drum, and guitar lessons as a child led to school recitals, where Tera realized that she couldn’t do anything else but music for a living. In fact, the spitfire still owns the little black three quarter size guitar that she got for her 11th birthday—the one she sat on the floor with for hours at a time in her room, looking up chords, charts, and finger techniques. The discovery of CMT further solidified her career path when she determined that one day, she too would make music videos like the ones she saw on TV. Artists like Willie Nelson, Aerosmith, Fall Out Boy, Dave Grohl, and musicals like Wicked and Moulin Rouge provided her with her own personal soundtrack throughout her adolescent years.

Endorsed by Cole Clark Guitars,  Fister has opened for acts like Thomas Rhett, Stoney LaRue, Big & Rich, Neal McCoy, JoeDee Messina, and Alabama.  Always one to collaborate, Tera has also lent her talents as rhythm guitarist and music video starlet for Americas-Got-Talent favorite trio  Chapel Hart. She can also be seen singing BGVs on tapings of “Real Country”, a singing competition that aired on the USA Network in 2018. In the trying year of 2020, Tera Lynne experienced her CMT debut with the music video release of her single “I Understand (I Will Never Understand)” with fellow artists Graham Nancarrow and John Bohlinger. A powerful song ex- tending an olive branch of love and support to all those who suffered the feeling of alienation through the racial feuds, the global pandemic, and the election. Fister and her talents have been spot lighted in substantial outlets such as Forbes and Cowboys & Indians magazine. Her decade in Nashville has reiterated the importance of growth, community, and perseverance for the self-proclaimed “searcher of art and lover of color”. Tera’s creative input and gifts of empathy and compassion are just the right combination for communicating with audiences on all levels, creating a sense of nostalgia and oneness. Which has lead to the inception of her first full length album, '“Flowers From The Ground”. Fister has spent all of 2021, 2022, And 2023 in the studio writing, recording,  executively producing, & self funding this new body of work. “Flowers From The Ground”, what the songstress affectionately labels “32 years of growing” features the single “You Left Me (Crying)” along with 6 other self written new tracks and 2 stunning covers. Fister was joined by an all-star team of Producers including Jason Kott (Randy Houser, Robert Randolph & The Family Band), Grammy award winning Vocal Producer and Engineer, Mike Fahey (Chris Stapleton, Phish, The Raconteurs) of Starbird Sound, and Grammy nominated John Baldwin (Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Margo Price ) of Infrasonic Sound who mastered the project. FFTG is due to be released into the world throughout 2024.

Fisters main goal is to help the collective human race grow- grow towards light, towards understanding of self and others, towards forgiveness of self and others, to grow towards love. And the only way she knows how is through music. No matter what stages she plays on, Tera will be the first to tell you how grateful she is for every experience. Tera’s creative input and gifts of empathy and compassion are just the right combination for communicating with audiences on all levels, creating a sense of nostalgia and oneness. Her deep emphasis on growth, community, and musical magic will always find its way to the right listener at the right time.

Flowers From The Ground is a genuinely visceral experience. Between questioning the universe, finding purpose, redefining love, and promising a better tomorrow - nothing is off limits when it comes to Fister's latest creation.
